This was a fun design project for St. Elmo. They were interested in a sticker design that would show off their beloved delivery van. They were Looking for a real-life scaled down model of the van - clean and proportionate. I searched for the highest quality portrait view of the van model I could find and got to work drawing. This is the first draft:
Funnily enough, the first draft was a little too clean. Though impressed, the team asked that I give it a little weathering to capture its working van aesthetic. I gave it some wear and tear, a little dirt here and a couple dents there and - voilà - the van came to life.
